Since 2008, the EIF, with the Louis Bachelier Institute (LBI) and the Risk Foundation (RF), has organized an International
Forum on Financial Risk, which brings together major international researchers and financial industry
leaders to discuss risk management. Over 600 participants from Europe, the United States, and emerging countries such as
India, Brazil, and China meet on this occasion. In addition, each year the EIF organizes the European Scientifc Forum, which
looks at the year's research trends. Under the guidance of the Scientifc Committee, the Forum grants two prestigious awards:
one to the best young researcher in finance, and the other for the best article published in a leading financial journal.
The EIF, in partnership with the LBI, organizes a European Job Market, which allows companies to meet leading students
and young, international researchers. This event, which facilitates the recruitment of professional collaborators with high
